The "Douchebag of the Year" Award?

Rob Patterson at the Dallas Observer has given Mark the ignoble distinction of Douchebag of the Year for his tongue-in-cheek song Brokeback Mountain. Do you agree with Rob’s article? Leave a comment to show your support for Mark!

I guess this is how the faggot community can get back at you, who cares anyone who is normal is going to laugh at the song just like they have been.
And i wish i wrote a song that made gays and democrats mad.
Keep singing your music!! John Wayne would be proud of you!!!
Just how exactly does the gay community use a douchbag, appears to be a little insensitive to women to me.
Bless them Lord, For they know not what they do… There Bleeding hearts are so content on someone stepping on thier toes. Its not there fault though, they were born that way…MDM, keep kickin’ it out DAWG !
I’ve gotta second these other comments. I hate that Dallas has become the San Francisco of Texas but if anything we need a good laugh at these mis-guided, light-loafered queers. Good song, Mark. I’m gonna download it and play it for a certain Sgt. in my platoon that likes that movie. P.S. John Wayne would indeed be pissing in his grave as would John Ford if they saw how the homosexuals are influencing the culture. DON ’T APOLOGIZE !
I heard the song. how freaking sad. Not only will I never buy a MDM cd again, I’ll never listen to KHYI again. Its the 21st century people, grow the fuck up.
Awww how sad don must of gotten his feelings hurt by the song also
I snet a email to the Observer tellingg them to lay off. Guess if the sone was about left wing weekly newspaper writers they’d not gotten so mad. But then again, it wouldn’t have been as funny either. Don’t change Manders—your music and your integrity are the two things they can’t take from you. And I’m sure we’re all gonna miss “Don”. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Maybe you’d be more comfortable listening to 96.3 or 99.5.
And these folks are the ones who say that you should be open and “sensitive” to other’s opinons
Hey Mark, I had a friend that works at the Dallas Observer, so i got her to publish a letter in your defense. Get back to angelo
